totes Stormbeater Black and Gray Automatic Double Vented Folding Umbrella
Stupid design will leave you WET
I received this as a gift. I have had it for two weeks and I'm ready to throw it away. It is "vented," which is fine the first time you use it. Then, you put it point-down in an umbrella stand, and what happens? All of the water runs from the outside, through the vents, and into the INSIDE of the umbrella. So, you open it to use it again, and now it is raining on you from INSIDE the umbrella. The water that doesn't fall directly on you runs down the handle, onto your hand and up your forearm. With or without this umbrella, you will still end up WET.

Sturdy Umbrella with Easy Open, Close, and Nice Design
We bought this umbrella after acknowledging the personal-sized totes umbrellas in our cars were too small for heavy storms, or too cumbersome to carry two at a time.
The Stormbeater lived up to its name yesterday, having little trouble during a windy storm. I was impressed that the vents actually stopped the umbrella from wanting to take off from my hand; the handle helped, too, with its ergonomic, but secure, design. My only critique is that the handle may need to be a little bigger to accommodate two-handed holding.
As for size: This thing is huge. I was surprised at how much room my wife and I had under it, and that made walking in the storm an easy task. No more fumbling to stay together, or one of us sacrificing so the other can be dry.
