Very handy for international travel

I bought 2 of these and used them recently to bring my wife's winter clothes back from her mother's house in Peru. I previously had the earlier version which I used for many years and many international trips before misplacing it. The early version folded into a smaller shape, but the current version also folds up nicely to take on trips. It's great for bringing back souveniers or dirty clothes. Survives airport baggage handling or can be carried on board.

My husband and I have used our totes fold-up bags for years, tucking one into a suitcase during the trip out, and expanding it to use for things purchased while visiting other countries as we undertake our return trip. It also makes a valuable week-end suitcase for short side trips taken from a hotel base in a central location. We gave two of these small tote bags to friends who were about to start a major trip to multiple locations and they write that they have also found them terrific.

Can the zipper on the compactable fold be fixed?

One side of the zipper clasp came off the zipper and I am unable to make my Tote bag fold and become compact.
