totes»ISOTONER® Comfort for a Cure Program

Five years ago this month totes»ISOTONER began a program entitled Comfort for A Cure™, with the purpose of developing some of our favorite accessories with beautiful pink accents in order to provide a donation program to help provide funding to those organizations dedicated to research and health services to fight breast cancer.

The idea came from an unlikely department within the company in that it was not from marketing or sales.  The idea came from a tireless volunteer who happened to work in the credit department who had worked locally with the Greater Cincinnati Susan G. Komen Affiliate for the last 8 years.  Her idea blossomed into a program that all involved are extremely proud of today.

Our designers came together to put a line of products that were not only great items to offer but also our most comfortable and protective for use.  We wanted to develop products that could possibly provide comfort for someone who was currently going through treatment for breast cancer.  So we continue to choose our products carefully and with extra comfort in mind.  For example all of our Comfort for A Cure umbrellas include SunGuard® protection to provide both sun and rain protection.  Our Isotoner slippers include patented PillowStep® or soft micro-terry fabrications.  And all of our cold weather accessories are made of our most plush and soft fabrics of the season.  We look forward to introducing new ESNY™ flip flops with extra supportive soles. 

Since the inception of the Comfort for A Cure program totes»ISOTONER along with our wonderful retail partners and patrons of both our on-line and outlet stores across the country we have donated over $400,000 dollars to both regional and national breast cancer organizations.

It is our pleasure to continually learn more about these organizations and to incorporate various programs within our own company such as on-site mammography opportunities for our employees.
