In 2004, totes ISOTONER launched a program entitled Comfort for a Cure, with the purpose of developing some of our favorite accessories with beautiful pink accents, donating a portion of proceeds to help fund various organizations dedicated to research and health services to help fight breast cancer.

The idea came from an unlikely department within the company that was not from marketing or sales. The idea came from a tireless volunteer who worked in the credit department and had volunteered locally with the Greater Cincinnati Susan G. Komen Affiliate. Her idea developed into a program that we are extremely proud of today.

Our designers came together to create a line of products that were not only great items but also are some of our most comfortable. It was important to develop products that could provide comfort for someone who was currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. So we continue to choose our products carefully with extra comfort in mind. For example, all of our Comfort for a Cure umbrellas include SunGuard protection for sun and rain. Our ISOTONER cold weather accessories are made of our most plush and soft fabrics of the season.

Since the inception of the Comfort for a Cure program, totes ISOTONER, along with our retail partners and patrons have donated nearly a half million dollars. Donations have supported Susan G. Komen regional affiliates all over the country, as well as the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, City of Hope, and many others.

It is our pleasure to continue developing great pink products and to incorporate various programs within our own company, such as on-site mammography opportunities for our employees.

We donate 10% of our wholesale dollars of Comfort for a Cure items to non-profit breast cancer organizations. If a product is purchased online, 10% of the sale price, as paid by the consumer, is donated.
